    Mini M & M’s

    Monday's, 9:30am, toddlers and preschoolers

    Show all your colors through music and movement! 

    We’ll sing, dance and perform many types of music. 

    Make your experience memorable by sharing with your many friends!

    A Homeschool Band Ensemble

    Learn to play flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, snare drum, bells

    or another instrument.    Join the band!  

    A class for students beginning and early intermediate levels, 4th Grade +

    Chamber Strings - A Homeschool String Ensemble

    Tuesdays, 2:30-3:30pm

    Learn to play violin, viola, cello or bass with a string ensemble class.  Bring a friend and join the fun!

     Preparing for an audition?  Stage fright?  Let us help you!             

    We have years of experience helping students succeed in auditions – college, solos, honors, all-district or all-state ensembles and more.  Learn how to prepare both musically and mentally for auditions or performances.  Individual coaching or on-site coaching at your location is also available, call the Music Academy to inquire.

     Thinking of studying music in college or wanting to better understand the “why’s” behind the music?  Music theory is essential for advanced music study.  Starting in middle school or high school gives music students a fantastic foundation for college music entrance!

    Sing for Joy

    Thursdays, 6:30 – 7:30 pm,  (does not meet the 1st Thursday of each month).   

    Meets at the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina.  

    Sing for Joy is a vocal, rhythmic and movement social group for people of all abilities! 

    Ages: High School and Adult

    Program is co-sponsored with Greenville Recreation and Parks Department, $25 for Greenville City Residents, $38 for others.  Call 329-4541 or 353-6232


    Drum Circles  A Family Event! 

    Sessions: Third Fridays of each month: 6:30-8:30pm  

    Experience the uplifting power of rhythm!  Join in the excitement of a Community Drum Circle with instructors at the Music Academy! Through Drum Circles, you can experience a sense of belonging, stress management, personal leadership growth, increased personal energy and more!  Bring your friends and family along!  You can bring your own drum or use one provided at the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina.  A Drumming Circle induces harmony, euphoria and rhythm to the chaos of our lives – what are you waiting for?  Attend one or all of the sessions – you will be glad you did!
