Fundraising Activities
As a nonprofit community music school, we rely on community giving and support. Tuition alone covers only 60% of annual expenses. All students are asked to participate in at least one fundraiser of their choice. Students who have not participated in fundraising during the year will be billed $50 in April 2012.

PERFORMATHON & Musical Petting Zoo, March 17, 2012 11am-4pm – a fun-filled day of recitals with proceeds benefitting the scholarship and financial aid program at MAEC. Performers raise a minimum of $25 to participate. Fundraising scratch-off cards are available for added fun! We certainly hope you will excel above minimum participation!
Musical Mirth: Chocolate, Wine and Musical Fun! March 17, 8pm. - What could be better than an evening of musical parody paired with chocolate and wine! Perhaps the wine will flow green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day…..Purchase at least 2 tickets for your fundraising participation!
ECU Football Concession Stand – assist with selling concessions at the MAEC Booth for at least 2 of the 6 home football games. Sign-up sheets are on the reception desk beginning in August.
Annual Fund - donate a minimum of $50 to MAEC’s Annual Fund by March 31, 2012. As a nonprofit community music school, contributions are tax deductible.
Other opportunities may be added during the year. You may elect to participate in these. Please inquire regarding the level of participation needed.
