We say goodbye to a great friend, Randy Ward.
Randy Ward was a great friend, supporter and musician with the Music Academy for several years. He died October 6, 2015. He played tenor saxophone with the New Horizons Band, as well as with the Tar River Community Band. The band enjoyed his jovial nature and his quick wit. Randy was a great supporter of the Music Academy and always wanted to ensure children could access quality lessons for saxophone and other instruments. Randy often expressed how much music meant to his daily living. He is greatly missed and will be remembered with lots of love and laughter from everyone who knew him.
