    We need your help!

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community music school, the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina envisions a community where everyone has this opportunity.  We seek to provide access for all who are interested, regardless of age or ability and with a variety of musical styles.

Can you imagine dreaming about playing or singing and never getting the opportunity to learn?  Music is a skill that lasts a lifetime.  Unfortunately, many individuals do not have the opportunity to participate in music.  They simply cannot afford it.

      Pledge Form

Gifts to the Annual Fund provide support for the day-to-day operations of the Music Academy of Eastern Carolina by helping us:

    ♪      Keep tuition affordable

♪      Attract and retain our excellent faculty

♪      Provide quality music education and music therapy programs

♪      Maintain our facility and instruments

♪      Offer public performances and workshops

Tuition covers only a portion of our facility expenses.  As you know, utilities and building costs keep rising.  We cannot raise our tuition to meet 100% of the expenses – this would be cost prohibitive for everyone!   While many of our students pay tuition, we are delighted to offer financial assistance when a family is in need. We hear all too often about parents being laid off or suffering a reduction in hours, causing families to stop their child’s lessons or ensemble.  Please consider sponsoring a student!  We will match your funds with deserving students!

Over the years, Music Academy of Eastern Carolina has been home to many music and arts activities, including, but not limited to Magnolia Arts Center productions, Greenville Choral Society youth and children’s rehearsals, Greenville Writer Group, Little People’s Creative Workshop and Young Actors Workshop and the Greenville Pops Symphony Orchestra.  In addition to lessons, classes, ensembles, summer academies and music therapy services, we are currently home to the Pitt Community College Symphony Orchestra, Emerald City Big Band, Pitt Community College’s Continuing Education music classes, many area music studio classes, recitals and more!  It is estimated over 8000 people are directly impacted annually by programs at the Music Academy!

Arts programs magnetize communities!  Through involvement in the arts, we have fun, we create shared experiences with our loved ones and we make memories that last a lifetime!  Please consider your gift – whether it’s $25 or $25,000, all gifts are important!  Please complete the Pledge Form and return it to the Music Academy.
